Students were tasked with producing a Public Service Announcement on a topic of their choice. Over several lessons, they were introduced to what a PSA is and why they are useful.
After forming groups, the next step was to select a topic and conduct the necessary research, before finally curating their video.
Students were free to select the format their video came in, whether it was a news report, animation or short documentary-style production.
The objective of this topic, was for groups to produce a video that:
1) highlighted a particular issue, be it societal, environmental or otherwise.
2) provide practical advice on how to avoid or reduce the impact of this issue.
